NOTES

After some intra-band unrest split them up, most of the members of Los Kumbia Kings remade themselves as Los Super Reyes, and this 2007 debut proves that, no matter what they call themselves, the guys rock, purveying upbeat, slightly jokey, but still tough hip-hop filtered through cumbia and other Tejano sounds. The album charted high upon its release, boosted by the single "Muevelo," which was a major summer jam in 2007.
