El Colmao is very famous amongst the Latin artists that often drop by if they are in town to perform and most of them leave their autographed cd's in the juke box that plays mainly salsa. The walls are decorated with pictures of famous stars that have eaten at El Colmao from Celia Cruz to Tito Puente. This Cuban family owned restaurant seats over 200 people but if you are in a hurry try to avoid the lunch rush. Serving Cuban and Mexican dishes but famous for their Arroz con Pollo, Bistec Empanizado and the Pollo Fricase and don't forget a Materva with your meal and their delicious Flan for dessert. Open Mon-Sat 10am-9pm Sun 12pm-9pm and priced from $8.95 to $18.95
